Nothing gets uploaded
The AI model is downloaded into your browser — your image or file is processed on your own device. Watch the network tab: after the model loads, there is no traffic.
No credits, no queue
Server-side AI tools meter you because GPU time costs them money per use. On-device AI costs nobody anything per run, so these tools are free without limits or watermarks.
Cached and repeatable

How does AI in the browser actually work?
Modern browsers can run neural networks through WebGPU — the same graphics chip that renders games executes the AI model. The models we use are small, openly licensed networks (a few megabytes, not gigabytes), specialised for one job each: cutting out backgrounds, reconstructing image detail, reading text. Your browser downloads the model like it downloads an image, caches it, and every computation after that happens locally. More on-device AI tools are on the way — natural text-to-speech is next.
