Pageonaut is built to respect your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what data we do and do not process when you use our tools.

1. Local-first tools

Most Pageonaut tools run entirely in your browser. When a tool processes text, images, or files locally, that content never leaves your device— it is not uploaded to or stored on our servers. Where a specific tool needs server-side processing, we say so clearly on that tool's page.

2. Information we process

• Preferences:your theme choice (light/dark) is stored in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device.
• Analytics:we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which tools are useful and how the site performs. It may set cookies or process identifiers such as a shortened IP address; where consent is required, you will be asked first. You can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
• Server logs: like most websites, our host may keep basic technical logs (e.g. IP address, browser type) for security and reliability. These are not used to identify you.

3. Cookies & local storage

We keep cookies to a minimum. Essential local storage (such as your theme preference) is required for the site to work. Advertising (see below) may set additional cookies; where required, you will be asked for consent.

4. Advertising

Pageonaut is funded by advertising so the tools can stay free. We intend to use Google AdSense and may use other advertising partners. These services may use cookies or device identifiers to show relevant ads and measure performance. You can learn more and manage personalised ads in Google's advertising policies.

5. Your rights
